Part 2 - Seed pods, sowing the seeds and planting out

If your iris cross was successful, a lovely green seed pod will develop on your iris.

Part 3 - Evaluation

Your first iris flowers are exciting! Waiting for the flowers to open so you can see the results of that cross you made. But what should you do with the flowers? Are they actually good irises? There are many thousands of iris crosses each year, but only the absolute best should go on to be registered, named irises. This section will help you learn how to assess your irises.

Part 4 - Registration... or not

Only the best irises should be registered. New registrations should represent an advancement on the thousands of irises already available.
